Our Partners Give Back
During this past year, we have been blessed to strengthen and foster new partnerships, and one of the most exciting partnerships we have formed is with the Jackson Family Foundation. From the heart and mind of legendary Miami HEAT announcer, Jason Jackson, the Jax Fam Fund was established in 2016, and has been positively impacting the lives of those who most need a little joy and support.

On December 12th, our dear friend Jason Jackson, AKA Santa Jax, kicked off the holiday season with a festive happy hour at the beautiful Porsche showroom at The Collection. Guests were invited to learn more about the work Casa Valentina does to reach a growing number of foster youth who are transitioning into independent living. They heard directly from Executive Director, Wanda Finnie, and one of our star residents Kalista. Among the tinsel and the bubbly, attendees graciously gave to the cause, and donations received were used for a very special event benefitting the young ladies of Casa Valentina at a later date.
What an unexpected thrill to have been blessed by the Jackson Family Foundation and Macy’s! Our young women received a very special surprise when the Macy’s Mobile Fashion truck pulled up to our girls’ residence, complete with fashion stylist, Natalie Garcia of Fashion Happy Hour. Each young lady toured the truck, browsed the latest fashion trends, and received a personalized fashion consultation! At the end, they were gifted their outfits of choice along with some additional Christmas goodies.
The young women were so grateful for the beautiful clothing and shoes for work and play. Now they’re ready to take on 2018 with style and flare!
